Hello John
I shot this today near Bromsgrove, West Mid's.
I only noticed when I was cleaning it up with Photoshop that a chunk of the fungus seems to have dropped down and somehow spoils the image.

Lovely shot of Hericium cirrhatum !
Not H. erinaceus since the basidiome is comprised of fused 'brackets' with the spinous hymenium on the undersides and each with a sterile shaggy / hairy top surface !
