Yes Matt. For once I was lucky!

Went to Whisby and two Kingfishers were fishing at the Kingfisher pond! I've never seen them there before, and always wondered why it was called that! Now I know.

This one settled on a bush about 20ft away from the hide. There was a stick about 10ft away and I was hoping it would land there, but not this time.

Wow, beautiful capture Graham, just look at the length of it's beak to it's body size. I'll bet you were really pleased with this and you even managed to capture the light in it's eye as well. I get the feeling that this little kingsher is going to be stalked for quite some time to come

Your spot on there Barbara! I can't wait to get back, when it settles on that stick only 10 ft way, that'll be the shot I really want.
