Not A. mellea, which has a very persistent, tough, saucer-like ring. Rather A. cepistipes.

Not Armillaria cepistipes (not authentically British !) but more likely old basidiomes of Armillaria gallica (= A. lutea) with the scales mostly worn off but retaining the slightly pinkish tints at the edge of the striate cap and the yellowish tones in the slightly bulbous stipe base !
