Great picture. I was in Glen Nevis last October and A wee fella used to come and eat nuts out of my wife's hand.I have recently taken up photography and hope to capture this in October any advice or tips much appreciated.

Wow, I wish my coal tits would eat out of my hand , I find they are quite sociable as are the blue tits, great tits and robins, but I find that the coal tit would be the first to visit my feeders while I am actually replenishing them. Mine feed on peanuts, wild berry suet, fat balls, sunflower hearts and black sunflowers. I must admit though I am very lucky to have a garden hide which is where I took this shot from but, I have also taken many shots of them whilst sat on the garden bench. They are quite quick movers so I mainly use continual shooting which I do most of the time for most birds. I hope I have been of some help. I would also like to add a warm welcome to the site geordie1970 and I hope in the future to be able to comment on your coal tit shots which you will hopefully post on the gallery, have a great holiday in Scotland in October and good luck with your new very addictive hobby
