This poor little Blue Tit struck our kitchen window so, after placing him in a quiet room in a box for 20 mins or so I carefully lifted him out and he happily perched on my finger for 20 minutets more ( just enough time for our dinner to burn!! ) Thankfully he flew off shortly after and was free to return to his young family.

How he escaped without injury is still beyond me, he hit that pane with such force my husband heard it upstairs. I was so relieved after he flew off! It was nice to see a Blue tit in such detail though!
