Female High Brown, North Lancashire 0n the 05.08.2005. Walked into a clearing where this female was busy laying. She stayed in the same area for a good 30 minutes, where she rested between ovipositing.

hi Glsammy, Jon and gmsmith and thanks. This is the same female that was ovipositing in the other picture, and Jon its not too far from the Wirral to the South Lakes in Cumbria. Well worth a visit and this is the right time of year.
