It is a rainbow trout

The shots were taken at Sparkwell Wildlifepark in Somerset. The park has a large natural lake and people can buy fish food to feed the fish which are mainly rainbow trout. The Eels were asso rising up to take the feed, something I have never seen before. There was a Heron about 250 yards away but the fish were to big for him. The trout was between 5 and 10 lb in weight. The Eels wee certainly 2 or 3 lb in wieght and 2 to 3 feet in length

I suspected something had to draw them to the surface, but nevertheless, to see eels at the surface is rare indeed. Excellent.
