Beautiful simple picture and very effective, I am curious how you managed to keep everything but the flower out of focus. Any tips would be most appreciated.

Hi Geoff, if I remember right this was taken at f3.5 so everything that was not on the same plane of focus would be thrown oof, the pieces of horsetail that you can see are just starting to intrude on that but not enough to be fully in, the benfits of these being in a field with a lot of horsetail is with a little more dof you can get some nice patterning on the background,
