Thank you very much Pauline, was not until I relay looked at it that I found I liked the delicate lighting on the stem and round the leaf suppose the flash helped me there.

The backlit is clever and the background is 'cleverer' still - its a real attention puller!

Thank you Pauline, the light around the edges was pure luck as was that little light going down the stem of the leaf, as you must surmise I used the flash just to lighten the inside of the leaf.....as luck had it...it came out well.
