There seems to have been an explosion of these in Cumbria this year but I've never got this close to one, well done Richard.

Thanks Kevin. I don't see many but this one just did not want to fly and just kept walking in front of me. Although I have spent months in the lakes over many years I have never seen one. What's caused the explosion?

I don't know what's caused it Richard but until 2 year ago I'd never seen one, now I see them all the time.
