Growing inside an old oak trunk that had fallen to earth, I hesitate to be categoric re the species following recent guidance from Chris Yeates pointing out how many species exist !! (see AscoFrance) but I have it as S. scutellata for now

Scutellinia sp. would be safer . . . I'm pretty sure this actually isn't S. scutellata from what I see here - I find that S. subhirtella tends to be the commonest one, at least in this part of Yorkshire

Well whatever it is, it's a lovely shot, anything orange isn't easy to photograph well done indeed.
