This is the full group. I'm still not sure that I like to stack everything - I think I prefer it if the rear plants were slightly out. Had it not been raining I would have tried the ring flash to see what results that gives. Plenty more 'play' for me to investigate yet! I did a huge amount of post processing as well, levels, curves, layers and noiseware with sharpening all to bring the plants 'forewards' and send the background 'back' ....

Camera Information: 1dmk4 105 macro on tripod in natural daylight of which there was very little! A 4 image stack.

Nice stacking Pauline.

If it were mine, I'd have probably tried to get them all sharp, but that's why photography is "art" - we all have our own way of differently interpreting similar subjects - and none is right and none is wrong. All that matters is that we get the resulting image how we intended it. (Well, some of the time we do anyway! ).

Thanks Mike - I still get a feeling on not quite 'real' with some of my stacks - possibly it is cos I know what I have done and where but other viewers don't so stuff either appeals or it doesn't!
