Love these and haven't found one for several years - maybe this year? Best time I know is when they are off to pupate and start crossing roads (not good for them and their survival) but good for me cos when I spot them I always jump out and shift them if I can ... not on the M6 of course!

Pauline, I mis-read your comment at first and thought you were collecting them ON the M6. I had this vision of cars missing you and them whilst you were in the fast lane.
