Two nice shots Mike, but this is not a Lily beetle, it is a Cardinal beetle - Pyrochroa serraticornis one of the main distinguishing features is the feathery antennae, hope you don't mind me pointing it out to you.

This is confusing. I dont think it is a Cardinal Beetle, they have black heads and this is red I think it is Pyrochroa serraticornis. Both are very similar, just the head colour.

Cardinal beetle is Pyrochroa coccinea



I think the common name is Red-Headed Cardinal
