John, you are right, this wasn't found in Britain. I took this picture in Southern part of Finland in very old spruce forest. This is verey rare fungi also in Finland. I think that this is one of NT spieces in the whole Europe (Near Threatened).

Very nice find Seppo - always good to find something new, and especially so when it is a rarity as well. Although I appreciate that this wasn't found (and as far as I'm aware, there aren't any records of it) in Britain.
