Veiw of the hill fort at the summit, with many remains of houses inside the walls, and three cairns from the Bronze Age which gives the mountain its name. The main defence fort consists of 1.2 hectares with two supplementary pen on its northern and western edges. There are stone and earth bank without a ditch around them: they are assumed to represent three phases of construction. Here were found beads and pottery pieces dating from the Iron Age to Roman times . The three large cairn lies on the summit itself, within the main defence and it predates to Bronze age. |
