Finally got back to Sizargh and bagged a little specimen. Looking thro the handlens tonight I can see the hairpoint is smooth and the capsule has a criss-cross pattern reminiscent of radial tyres! When I took the pic I was more interested in the water droplets and the fact that I could see myself upside down in every one!!

Thanks Jonners - yes the drops caught my eye ... we had been waiting for green woodpeckers and none had shown so my mind was back on little attainable stuff!!!!
