Works well though, the sands and grasses are enhanced by the presence of the life buoy with the wind blown rope hanging like a fish net.... lighting works so well there in that corner.
Great image all round Lee... Outstanding.

I don't often view the landscape photo's but this one caught my eye from the home page, well worth the suffering Lee, a great image.

Hey thanks guys, it's much appreciated. I've just checked this in the high res on here compared to the view above, it changes the lighting more to the original image as I'd taken it.
Once again, many thanks
Lee

I thought it looked cold! Your description of the agony gone thro to get it enhances what is a very good image - but there is something about knowing the photographer didn't just stroll up and snap that makes it all the better!

Thanks Pauline, yes I agree, the amount of times I've gone out and driven for miles (waisting diesel) or got up stupidly early for conditions to let me down, more times than I can rememember but once in a while it all comes good and that makes it all the worthwhile. Be nice if they'd come around more often though.....
Thinking about it photographer's ephemeris cuts down (drastically) some of the frustration, it's a must for landscapes.

Your putting up some amazing landscape images Lee, not only that but you research each location and give a detailed account of it's history, you should consider putting the images in book form I'm sure there would be a lot of interest ( I of course being a friend would be given a signed copy free of charge)
Seriously though keep up the good work mate.
