The B&W treatment gives it the feel of an old engraving - nicely done.

Superb image...well done. It has a dramatic effect, in tone, of "years gone by". Works very well for me.

Yes great impact with the darker middle ground taking your eye to the castle and holding it - well well treated - I don;t normally like black and white but done well its a peach!

Hey thanks guys and girl ;-) You know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but I seemed to have worked a helluva lot in photoshop with this one, and I kept restarting from scratch as I just couldn't get it how I wanted it. In the end I got fed up with trying and thought, stuff it 'I've had enough', this being the final result. I'm not truly happy with it but I just can't put my finger on why? I don't know if I ended up over working it?
So your comments are all (greatly) appreciated, thank you :-) Lee
