A very nice image Gibbo. It's usually considered good practice to state when a captive subject has been used.

This photo was taken during a raptor workshop I attended at Skyhigh Falconry in Kirkoswald near Maybole in south west Scotland. A fantastic experience which gave me the opportunity to develop my photographic skills and indulge in my love for birds of prey. Along with the peregrine I also had the pleasure of photographing a Merlin, Goshawk and Golden Eagle.

I wonder if I will ever be lucky enough to get this close to a Peregrine in the wild?

Excellent shot indeed, perfect light and colours. Getting that close to one in the wild would be a moment that would stay with me forever. If it posed like that i'd probably feint
