Thanks for that Wayne. The light wasn`t that good when i "spied it" on a small stream running out of the mountains on Skye, so I am hoping for better detail next time we visit. Fortunately it was up stream, so i was able to get a low angle due to this. Your positive comments are always appreciated.

This is worth a second click to see the detail - limpid eye full of reflections and a musing almost pensive expression of the bird - the water has a nice silky feel to it - a nice shot all ways round ..

You`re right there John.....it was "slowly, slowly " or it would fly up stream. Fortunately this little stream was more or less unnoticed when the house it was near went unoccupied. It was only by luck i noticed it when i went for a stroll along the waters edge.
