Another very nice photo, but I am not convinced it is C. diversa.
Have you considered C. bellidiflora?

Hi Alan, yes, I did consider bellidiflora, but the area below the cup was granular, so I assumed Diversa with joined apothecia. But I'll have another look when there next week to double check...............
