Image showing a small grouping from the many hundreds of fruitbodies which have appeared in the last few weeks. Although the site is reliable at producing Scarlet Elf Cups, it looks like 2012 is going to be a partticularly good year for them.

That is a lovely group Mike...lucky you to find so many. I found these for the very first time this week (lucky me!) and in total there were about a dozen.

These seem to be showing in great profusion this year at this one local spot - but other locations I know of just have the usual fairly small numbers.
