i have a pair of kestrels that come to the field outside my home ,may i say ive taken some good shot by my own limited standards, but you shot is super brill tried and tried and failed to get one as clear as yours in the air.

Keep trying. I have lost count of the binned kestrel pictures. One day, I will be standing beneath a hovering kestrel with the sun in the right area - one day .....
