Found in the shrubs at the bottom of the garden...I was looking for Ladybirds at the time so surprised to turn a leaf over and find this pale spider.

Comments much appreciated, thanks...just wished those legs hadn't been so active, the shot might have looked better...but I'm happy to have spotted this pale character!...and you're right...it's amazing what you can find in your own garden.

Sorry, Dickie. Not a crab spider. Not even a Thomisid. This is a Theridiid, Enoplognatha sp. Probably either E. latimana or E. ovata. Sitting on its web, which is a tangle fairly typical of Theridiids.
