Oh my word! Do the double click and just look at the detail - it screams Lancashire Lad from first glance! I've looked close before - or I thought I had - but I never knew they had crimped almost frilly edges to the petals. I did know about the little hoop shapes of the stamens tho!

Wow, this image has blown me away Lancashire Lad - what a beauty. I must search this out on Southport dunes for a look myself. I had no idea it looked like this!
