This long dead Oak at the side of a main road at Muncaster,Cumbria leans toward the adjacent field. Large sheets of bark hang from the trunk and branches providing habitat for nesting birds and bats.
growing in the main stem fork are Rowan, Holly, Honeysuckle and three fern species. |
