I know you may think this is a fishermans story but I had a pet grass snake back in the sixties, caught it in the hills around Merthyr, my father measued it six foot long, it was scarred and clearly very old, had to let it free after about a month, took it back to where I fond it in the first place, the size could well have been a record. nice pic by the way, years since I last saw one..
