This is the shot from Priory some of you wanted to see! Its taken a huge amount of work and manipulation to 'bring out' the eye as she was a very big adult girl and ready to slough again - so her eyes were quite opaque - many many thanks to Tim for providing us all with this snake opportunity .....

Awesome image Pauline - every bit as good as I thought it would be.

Its Tim's reflection in her eye! It was fantastic to get such a close look but very whiffy and as Neil commented the smell was so strong some of us could taste it when we licked our lips! I've smiled at where this is in the gallery - if you look across the top there is a frog next to this image - trying to get away - have a look - see if it strikes you the same way - makes me grin!!!

Thanks Jeapesy - you would have laughed - I'm usually quiet when taking photos - but while doing this we were all in a ring round the snake and when I looked on my monitor and realised I had got the shot I was hoping for I went into paroxysms of 'yes, yes, yes' like a total idiot - to which the others predictably said ..... 'we'll have some of what she's having' .......... oh guys - honestly! This why you go on meets - esp Priory!!!!
