Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust WINS prestigious Education Award!

The environmental education work of the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust has been recognised at the Quarry Products Association Wales Annual Seminar as the ‘Most Sustainable Education Project in Wales 2008’ supported by the Aggregates Levy Fund for Wales.

 

 

The project - ‘Extraction to Education’ based at Llyn Coed Y Dinas Nature Reserve, near Welshpool, beat at least 50 projects across Wales to win the award, presented by Jane Davidson, Minister for the Environment, Sustainability and Housing in Cardiff on 7 March.
