Description: 

A whitish, small bracket like fungus that grows on the branches of deciduous trees.

Distribution: 

Infrequent from Summer till Spring.

Habitat: 

Broadleaf woodland growing on dead branches.

Cap: 

The fruiting body whitish with an ochraceous tint, older specimens being more brownish in colour, the upper surface is whitish, fibrous downy.

Flesh: 

Whitish, when dry it is hard and corky and thin, rubbery-leathery when damp

Inedible.
