Moth Facts

Scientists have yet to discover why moths are attracted to lights, but they think that it may have something to do with their navigation system

The Sphinx Hawkmoth is the fastest moth in the world, capable of reaching speeds over 30 mph

Moths use both the moon and geomagnetic forces to help them navigate

Females moths produce a pheromone scent that can be detected by males more than 5 miles away.
