This is a small to medium sized fungus commonly found in grassy areas such as lawns, parks, fields and at the edges of woodland. It is deadly poisonous and can be found growing with edible mushrooms so care must be taken when identifying it.

In a wide range of grassy places, lawns, parks, cemeteries, meadows and wood edges.
Funnel-shaped or flat, cream to pinkish-beige with a white bloom making it appear frosted. It can be zoned or blotched and often cracked when old.
Smells mealy when young
White to greyish cream gill, running slightly down the stem.
