Sandstone cliffs, heathland, woodland, pasture and arable land
Wildlife Description: 
Fossils including dinosaurs, giant cycads, sharks, turtles and early mammals. Animals include barn owl, peregrine, black redstart, Dartford warblers, adder, dormouse and glowworm. Dinosaur footprints visible in intertidal rock at low tide. Rare liverworts and mosses
Volunteer: 
Volunteer ranger group currently under development into a Friends of Group. The site is important to the local community and nature conservation in Hastings and receives an estimated 500,000 visits a year.
