| | | Top 3 for this year After just looking at Jeff's A1 photo's of a pair of kingfishers it has put kingfishers as one of the species I would most like to capture this year. (one entering the water would be great)
This is closely follwed by Puffin and thirdly two rutting Red Deer in battle. What is anyone else hoping to capture for the first time this year? |

Some eagles (hopefully both species) in Scotland
I'd love to see + photograph Smooth Snakes, and lots of interesting heathland insects

[quote=vinnychameleon;106451]by the way guys out of interest does this count as a capture
It certainly does VC - one bird that really is unmistakeable! Was that on the stream near your home?
My own dream capture now has to be a line up of 5, 6 or 7 juvenile Kigfishers sat along the same perch branch with Mum and Dad on either end - a real family portrait. One can but dream

| | | Re: Top 3 for this year 1. Any dragonfly ( I've never took a good image in my life)
2. An Osprey
3. An Adder
would all be great, but a first "anything" of which I'm particularly proud of will suffice! |

| | | Re: Top 3 for this year after looking at fergus (wolfhill)'s sea eagle pics one of them is top of the list - second is grouse and third is osprey - fortunately I am going on holiday to scotland in a couple of months
I also want to get a good hare close up - fortunately these are numerous on the estate where our workshop is.
