Canon pt 2

So finally after what seems to have been a long time of writting letters, speaking to managers, technicians and sending a lens back and forth, Canon have stated they will issue me with a brand new lens. But it could take some time to arrive...........In the meantime they will issue me with my old lens as replacement untill my new one arrives.....I feel better knowing that I will be recieving a brand new lens but wish it could have all been dealt with better in the first place...But im happy its been resolved.....I should be out taking pics again soon...Thanks for everyones input and advice on the lens threads posted..
