Dartmoor Zoo permits the use of Photography and has Photographic workshops. Guided Wildlife Photography Tours
It's a great day out as well. So if anyone was looking for somewhere to take great shots of big cats, Wolves etc, this has to be worth the visit.

I'm not aware of any other zoo that offers Photography tours with tuition, but perhaps someone else might know of one. Paignton zoo is a good zoo, but not as good when it comes to Photographing it's animals such as the Big Cats.

This offers photographers a better chance of capturing great photos and a great day out too.

£99 is a bit steep for a day out at the zoo..
If you want a photography day with a photographer fair enough but I would go to a safari park local to me and take my chances there.
I think the others meant other zoos do not stop you taking shots not that they do photography courses.
Its only about £3 to get into the deer park you can stay as logs as your like up until it closes.

Sounds like another way of making more money and adding more stress to an animal. Especially as the poor animal will not be used to 'new' people in non-public areas. I believe as wildlife photographers we should shoot with a conscience and way up these schemes carefully before endorsing them by participating.

It's a personal view only, but one as a wildlife photographer, I hold dear.
