Just what I was about to say Matt! The DOF with the extensions is extremely limited. One of the best 1:1 shot's I've seen is Steves (Fourwings):

I now can't wait for the dragons and damsels to arrive There should be a few around from early May shouldn't there?

Definitely Matt, if not even earlier! Last year we were watching four spots emerge mid May. With the very mild winter who knows when it will be this year?
