| | | My woodland feeding station Hi
Everyone i have just finished putting up my woodland feeding staion on my uncles private land.
What do you think will be best for a hide:Green canvas or brushwood screening with waterproof sheet over the top.
Any help will be great.
Best regards

| | | Re: My woodland feeding station It doesnt matter a jot to the wildlife what colour your hide is or what its made from. Its a common misconception that the camouflaged patterns usually used make the wildlife less nervous. An illuminious pink hide wont spook birds any more than a camouflaged hide. The main reason for it being camouflaged is to stop people seeing it. Just make sure its waterproof, comfy and practical. There are loads of other important things that help which I can help you with if you want. Things like the position it is to get the best of the light. Remember the Suns position changes month to month. Its a big job you are taken on if you want to get good results, but its a rewarding one mate. Have a look through my Flikr, most of the recent photos are from my woodland hide. If you have any more Qs Ill help you as much as I can. Flickr: Fudgey2010's Photostream

If its you place put in a garden shed and stay warm and dry. Just open the window when you are ready to shoot. Then a bit of sheet to shoot through would be good to hide your movment. You can use a sheet with a hole for the lens, and some holes to see through. |
