Hi
Does anyone know where i can get some green canvas material so i can make a hide.or do you have any other suggestions about building a hide.

What they don't have or will make will fill the back of a postage stamp.
Apart from living in the same town, I have no connection with this firm, but can say the smell of Stockholm Tar in the shop is very evocative.

I use the green windbreak material you'll find on rolls (and on sale by the metre) at most garden centres.
If necessary - depending on what species you're watching/photographing - you can also line your hide with black/brown landscape material usually available from the same source(s).

I've nothing at all useful to contribute to this thread but, just this very morning I was lost in contemplation of 'Stockholm tar'.

Have you thought of using a pop up tent they are cheap from that on-line auction site I think they do portable bird-hides too..possibly..or do you want something more permanent. |

Birds are used to seeing sheds.Alternative to cam net is pots of leaf green and bark colored paint.Some fun doing it no doubt.
