| | | Monopods? Just wondering if anybody could recommend a decent Monopod for my Fuji S9500? have seen a few about but am unsure as to which is good and not. My budget ideally would be up to around £50-60
Thanks

| | | Re: Monopods? Try the Slik ProPod 600. You can get one for about £40 - well that's what I paid for mine.
It supports my 500 f4 without any trouble at all.
Excellent bit of kit.

| | | Re: Monopods? Received the National Geographic monopod today and it looks a decent bit of kit, of far superior construction to my nasty old Jessops pod. I think a ball head is the way forward with a mono as it offers a lot more flexibility. Hopefully I'll test-drive it tomorrow and do a proper review.

| | | Re: Monopods? Why not try a Leki photo walking pole with tripod screw on top of the handle. Add a ball & socket head and away you go - 2 in one. I find it useful when walking in the hills and don't want to carry extra weight. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
