Request for Photos!

Hi all, I'm in the process of gathering conservation info at work (with no conservation experience - fun!) and will need some flora and fauna pics that haven't got copyright. I'm not sure exactly what I need yet but various orchids and the great crested newt will be needed. I hope maybe you guys will be able to help. Of course I'll state tthe photographer's name if you wish.

I don't have newts or orchids but see if there is anything here which is of interest crustacean's Photo Galleries at pbase.com

A wide selection besides wildlife; but quite a few various insects, etc, if that helps at all.

Just bear in mind that the copyright remains the photographers, and they should not be used for gain by anyone else.
That said you are welcome to use any of my photos

Hi all, sorry I haven't been on for a while. Thanks for your replies. I'll need photos of the following:

Great creasted newt
Bee orchid
Common-spotted orchid
Green woodpecker
Buzzard
Spotted flycatcher

BATS:
Common
Soprano
Pipistrelle
Brown long-eared
Noctule
Serotine

Not asking much am I?! But if I only get a couple that would be great. Some of these might also come in from sources at work, but just in case they don't I thought I'd better ask.

Flickr allows you to search for photographs which have Creative Commons Licenses. These can be used straightforwardly providing you keep to the conditions of the license (typically attribution - explicitly credit the photographer, share-alike - your usage must also have a CC license and non-commercial - i.e., not for sale or use by a for-profit organisation).

Here, for example, is a search for CC photos tagged with Bee Orchid. Always check that the material is correctly identified (or that a name is not used for another animal/plant elsewhere in the world).

Other photo sharing sites may also allow this type of search.

Many photographers appreciate a short message saying how you've used their work.

I have a nice bee orchid - I don't mind you using it but would want to be credited as copyright always remains with the photographer! Contact me if you need it larger and poss lighter - my stuff appears darker on wab very often for some reason?
