"We Are All Photographers Now" Exhibition

Fame at Last!
At the beginning of the month I submitted some wildlife images to the Musee de l'Elysee, Lausanne, Switzerland for possible inclusion in their latest exhibit: We Are All Photographers Now
WE ARE ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS NOW! - Participate!
Well I entered an image of a raptor entitled:'Rarin' To Go' my Gallery image: -

I have just received email confirmation that it has been displayed on the wall these last few days.
Subject: All Photographers Now! - Your photo has been displayed!

Dear Photographer,

Your image was shown in the Musee de l'Elysee's exhibit ‘We are all photographers now!’ in the last few days. Enclosed you will find an installation view of your image that shows it in the wall.

The visitors to the exhibit are fascinated by all the different photographs that are being shown from participants like you from all over the world. Thank you again for participating and please feel free to upload more images to the site allphotographersnow.ch.

We also sincerely hope you will visit the museum. The dates of the exhibition ‘All photographers now!’ are from February 8th, 2007 to May 20th, 2007.

If it was in the UK, yes, but seeing as it's in Lausanne, no. Have been informed by Nikonians that about half-a-dozen members' images have been selected in various catergories.

I'm surprised no-one from here has not submitted any - have posted link in my initial post.

Congratulations Richard, thats great! from some one in awe of everyone who can take such stunning photo's and has spent 2 hours unsuccesfully trying to take a photo of a Holly Blue. Well done.

Yes, well done Richard. If only the title of the exhibition were true. Most of us have clever cameras now, but that's not quite the same thing, is it? I'm constantly outclassed by the many excellent photographers who frequent this site. Good incentive to get out there and keep trying.

I too entered a week or so ago and they have put my humble dandelion on display..the picture they send you isnt very clear but its still nice to recieve it..
