| | | Shutter count If any of you would like to know how many shots you have taken with your camera you can find out if you have Photoshop CS2.
Open a Raw image in photoshop and go to File – File Info – Advanced - http://ns.adobe.com/exif/1.0/aux and there you should see aux: ImageNumber
It works with Canon 1D and 30D raw and JPG as long as it hasn’t been saved for web, so might work for other cameras as well.

the 30D, which is meant to be good for
100,000 shots.

I don't think I'll worry too much about it, according to Canon the 20Ds shutter has a life expectancy of double the 10D, which was rated between 30,000 and 50,000.
So I doubt I'll reach the expected life, between 60,000 and 100,000. I'm bound to have upgraded by then! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
