Osprey got a hold of something big

Hi Jim,and thanks for the reply,

I did find the article if it is the right one, it was a print out of a page
and it was interesting to read, that was one determined Osprey,
and 30lbs thats got to be a big fish,
the Osprey we were watching was missing way more than usual,something had attracted his attention, he had three attempts and then went back to his perch for a rest.

I wonder if they can swim, like Bald Eagles can? Seriously, look up "bald eagle swimming" on YouTube. I was surprised.

Hi Mark, apologies for not replying sooner,
and yes i can well believe it, as this Osprey i was watching had no fear to go under the water,maybe not in the same league as the Bald Eagle, but still quite fascinating how they can adapt.
