To go out every day - must be nice! When I retire maybe - definitely! In the meantime I suppose work gets in the way but there are always days off and weekends. I've recently discovered the wetland centre at Washington and can't get enough of the place. |

Bempton is indeed a super place to see cliff nesting birds. A bit further South, my favourite place in Yorkshire is Spurn point. It always throws up suprises.
Living in Kent I dont get there as often as I would like. |

Have never heard of Spurn before so will have to look into taking a trip there one day. |

Ooh Spurn - not been for years - it has a huge birding history and can be a great day out: I would have loved to have been there when they have huge autumn 'falls' of robins, blackbirds, whinchats, stonechats - you name it - birds in huge numbers in the hedgerows and on fences - must be stunning! | | | |
