A nice photo, I would be pleased with that one. I haven't seen so many herons in Cheshire this year, but I am surrounded by fishing lakes so I don't think they are encouraged to stay.

Welcome to WAB, and what a great first picture. I love the behavioural aspect of this shot as it speaks to the 'character' of thebanimal being shot.
