| | | Treecreeper Ok now this is a very first for me and I'm rather pleased considering the subject. If anybody doesn't know about these little beauties then all I can say is they never stays till and are quick movers.
I would like to think I got lucky yesterday however as one decided to preen itself about 10ft to my left whilst I was photographing Great Tits.
Under a thick canopy of oak and poor light anyway the ISO was cranked up to 640-800 and I opted for a lower shutter speed of around 1/200s seeing as he was sat still for brief moments.
420mm was my focal length with an aperture of f/5.6.
If you do get chance to hear of a location where they might be, go and look as they are intriguing little birds
Hope you like, sorry for somenoise in the shots but that's the best I could do.
Check out how well camouflaged they are.
Regards,
Dan |

| | | Re: Treecreeper No wonder you are proud of this capture as it really is a cracker!
The best I have ever got on the few occasions I have actually spotted one was a brown blur in a blurred background so you can guess how good that looked. lol
Suggestion:- Why don't you add a link to your super website?

| | | Re: Treecreeper That's a fantastic photo D.J. I snapped a Tree-Creeper last year but it was with a 14-42mm zoom, ha-ha,and I ended up with an unrecognisable brown smudge. Needless to say I've never seen it again although I always switch over to my 300mm zoom whenever I'm in that part of the woods just in case. Fat chance. Good shot sir!
