Just been made aware that a set of three of my photographs of A Grey Heron swallowing a Jack Pike have been published in this Tuesday's edition of Anglers Mail. Well pleased as this is the second set of published photos that I have managed in a year. The first set being in practical photography last March.

Seriously, it's a great sequence - amazing how a heron copes with such a big chunk of meat! |

Congratulations - they are a great set of photos!
Of course, if coments on the "Golden eagle takes lamb" thread are anything to go by, you may now have to defend yourself for giving anglers a reason to call for a cull of Grey Herons!  
All that you've actually done is take a good series of photos showing behaviour that anglers are already well aware happens - but it would be interesting to see the slant that the magazine puts on any accompanying story, and what is said in any letters to the magazine following publication! |
