| | | Re: Photographic goals for next year So looking back over my goals i did manage to do two of them! I did finally purchase the beautiful Nikon 300 2.8 AF-s VR II, At 18 it was hard to get but I must admit it is more than worth the money! I also photographed the deer rut and managed a number of good images. In addition to my original goals i managed to find a photograph my local fox that produced some of my best images of 2011 along with a little trip to wales to photograph some red kites
I spose the final big news of 2011 was my new sponsorship! I am now sponsored by both Lowepro with a pro trekker 400 aw and by Wimberley with a Sidemount full gimbal head.... oh and one of my shooting buddies gave me a new D300....All in all one hell of a good year!!!
Im trying to think how 2012 can be better! |

| | | Re: Photographic goals for next year My goals for 2011 were:
Smooth Snakes (accompanying a licence holder)
Sand Lizards (accompanying a licence holder)
Aesculapean Snakes
Wild Rabbits
I only managed the Aesculapean Snakes so everything else is back on my list for 2012.
I also managed many other animals this year that I've been able to add to my website including a Wall Lizard.

| | | Re: Photographic goals for next year I can't remember if I set myself any photographic goals for 2011 - other than to get better at it!
I've now had a 7D for nearly a year and am feeling quite comfortable with it, but have yet to try shooting any video... which was one reason I bought it . It's not so much the shooting of the video, but the editing of it. I'm clueless and haven't yet taken the time to work out what to use and how. So I think my goal should be to tackle that! |

Midsummer we will go Marsh Harriers: Hen Harriers continue to elude me even tho we see so many in the isles and golden and WT's - perhaps - just perhaps October????
